Front End Developer

Responsibilities: 
• To work collaboratively with the team, creating innovative solutions to difficult problems faced by a (very) large market.
• A detail-oriented eye that is sensitive to the aesthetics of layout (CSS, xHTML) as well as front-end code (PHP 5/AJAX).
• Adopt development methodologies and pride in product ownership, resulting in quality code -- all the while maintaining a fast, iterative pace.

Minimum Requirements:
Expert knowledge of:
• Object Oriented Programming (PHP5, Java, VB.NET or C#)
• Hand coding Javascript, xHTML, CSS2
• Relational Databases (MySQL preferred)
• Understanding of basic software development methodologies


• Comfortable working in all environments: Linux (RH/Debian), Max OS/X and Windows.
• Accurate prediction of your own task completion timelines.
• An innate urgency to complete projects on time and with high quality.
• Open communicator and can jump in (if appropriate) to help other team members.
• Educational background in Engineering preferred.
• Information Architecture or design experience a plus

Compensation:
Salary / options commensurate with experience and are very competitive. We prefer full time hires for this position. Local candidates / no relocation.
