Marin Software Launches Smart Images for Dynamic Ads on Facebook

SAN FRANCISCO, CA May 25, 2017 — Marin Software Incorporated (NYSE: MRIN), a leading provider of cross-channel, cross-device, enterprise marketing software for advertisers and agencies, announced a new feature today for its Marin Social product, Smart Images.

Through its work managing billions of dollars in annualized ad spend across the web and mobile devices, Marin found that many online advertisers want to simplify ad creation—and find new ways of standing out in a saturated social advertising market. Now, retail and
e-commerce companies have an easy, automated way to engage those audiences spending increasing amounts of time shopping online.

Smart Images allows retail and e-commerce advertisers to create image overlays to their Facebook Dynamic Ad campaigns with a simple drag and drop editor. Adding logos, pricing, or calls-to-action to an image helps drive higher engagement than Dynamic Ads with plain images.

With Smart Images, advertisers can:

  • Enhance product images with price, background colors, ratings, logos, and more
  • Create a dynamic template and automatically apply it to all products
  • Choose from a library of existing templates
  • Automatically update an image to reflect changes to a product feed, including availability and pricing
