Last week I had the great pleasure of attending both ad:tech Tokyo and the official launch party for Marin Software’s office in Japan. Ad:tech Tokyo took place in the cavernous Tokyo International Forum. The Forum perfectly accommodated the conference’s ten thousand attendees, with Marin exhibiting smack in the middle of the trade show floor. Interacting with all of our clients, well-wishers, and those who expressed an interest in learning more about Marin Software and what we do was a fantastic and gratifying experience. We’re already looking forward to next year’s show!

Ad:tech Tokyo as an entity was excellent, but for Marin the event really came to a point with the official launch of our Tokyo office. Drinks were flowing and the line of more than 350 attendees waiting for the start of the event stretched through the venue, Miraculeuse, and out the door. Ed Stevenson, Marin’s International Managing Director, gave a gracious welcome speech. It was a real pleasure to see so many people gathered in one place to celebrate Marin's growth and it was a night that marked a great beginning for Marin Software in Japan.

I’d like to extend Marin’s sincerest thanks to Yukiko, Kenta, and Keiichi at our Japanese PR agency, Traintracks, for their help in making our debut at ad:tech Tokyo such a success. Special thanks to Mami Arako and Tony Furuya of ad:tech, as well, for their assistance in planning a great party for the launch of our Tokyo office.
