Marin Software Launches Smart Sync
Innovative new feature enables advertisers to easily sync Google campaigns with other publishers, including Bing
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – June 24, 2015 – Today, Marin Software (NYSE: MRIN), provider of a leading cross-channel performance advertising cloud, introduced Smart Sync, a breakthrough new feature that enables advertisers to experience the benefit of advertising across various publishers without the hassle of creating and managing campaigns separately.
Through its work managing more than $7.2 billion in annualized ad spend across its platform, Marin has found that many large online advertisers are interested in taking advantage of the growth of publishers beyond Google to reach new audiences. However, they often miss out on critical opportunities to reach new audiences on fast-growing publishers like Bing and Yahoo Gemini because setting up multiple campaigns can be an extremely time-intensive process.
“Marin’s Smart Sync technology proves that managing campaigns across multiple platforms can be easy,” said John Cosley, Bing Ads Director of Brand and Digital Marketing. “Today, Bing powers one-in-three searches in the US and we expect our market share to continue to grow, especially with the upcoming integration with Windows 10. With Smart Sync, advertisers now have an easier way to tap into Bing Ads’ growing audience while applying the freshest campaign strategies.”
About Marin’s New Smart Sync Technology:
- Marin’s breakthrough Smart Sync feature enables advertisers to easily sync Google campaigns with other publishers. With Smart Sync, advertisers can easily copy information at the account, campaign, and group levels (along with keywords and creatives) from Google to other publishers.
- Once these items are copied, Smart Sync will continue to sync any changes made from the Google account to other publishers.
- Smart Sync currently supports Google-to-Bing, with support for Yahoo Gemini expected to be available in Q4 2015.
“We’re excited about the simplicity of Marin’s Smart Sync to manage complex search campaigns between publishers,” said Mike Smith, Interactive Marketing Manager at Extra Space Storage. “The ease of creating and maintaining identical campaigns will be incredibly beneficial to any paid search program.”
