Marin Software Launches Dynamic Ads for Travel

New Solution Allows Travel Advertisers to Deliver Ads on Facebook Based on Individual Hotel, Flight, and Airline Interests

San Francisco, CA (November 15, 2016) – Marin Software Incorporated (NYSE: MRIN), a leading provider of cross-channel, cross-device, enterprise marketing software for advertisers and agencies, today announced the release of a new feature, Dynamic Ads for Travel (DAT). DAT allows travel advertisers to automatically deliver ads from their hotel and destination catalog feed with unique creative, based on individual click events on the advertiser’s website. As a Facebook Marketing Partner, Marin Software is one of the first to support DAT.

To ensure higher conversion rates at a lower cost, advertisers in the travel industry must create and deliver content that is more relevant to each prospective traveler. These advertisers—with limited time and ad campaign budgets—would be hard-pressed to manually create all of the possible audience segment combinations and permutations, and then pair them with unique creatives for each destination or hotel.

DAT is an automated solution that allows travel advertisers to deliver personalized ads based on the interest people have shown on their travel site or app. In addition to retargeting people with personalized ads, it enables advertisers to cross-sell, up-sell, and prospect travelers with compelling, relevant offers based on their individual travel research and interests.

DAT improves campaign performance through intelligent ads that match travel details with what people are searching for, including price, check-in date, and destination; automated ad delivery from the advertiser’s catalog feed; improved targeting based on a user’s search (e.g., a specific location or date); and the ability to remarket to people across all ad placements, including mobile news feed, the Audience Network, and Instagram.
