Marin Software and Bing Launch 8th Annual SMX Biggest Search Geek Contest

Winner will receive an all-expense-paid trip to SMX Advanced 2016 and an Apple Watch, Amazon Echo, or Microsoft Surface Pro 4

SAN FRANCISCO, CA April 25, 2016 — Marin Software Incorporated (NYSE: MRIN), a leading cross-channel, cross-device performance advertising cloud for advertisers and agencies, today launched the 8th annual “SMX Biggest Search Geek Contest” in conjunction with Bing, the global search engine behind nearly 1 in 3 PC searches in the U.S.

This challenging, quiz-based contest is where the world’s brightest search marketers compete to outsmart fellow search geeks from across the globe. The contestant with the highest score in the shortest amount of time wins the grand prize — a flight and hotel accommodations for two to SMX Advanced in Seattle, Washington on June 22-23, 2016.

The grand prize winner will be presented with an award on stage by Third Door Media’s Danny Sullivan and Marin Software’s Patrick Hutchison, Product Marketing Manager for Search. The winner will also receive their choice between an Apple Watch, Amazon Echo, or Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Regional winners from North America, Europe, and Australia will receive their choice of an Apple Watch, Amazon Echo, or Microsoft Surface Pro 4. The top 50 finishers of the popular industry quiz will receive a free SMX Biggest Search Geek t-shirt and an SMX Biggest Search Geek badge suitable for displaying on their personal blog or website.
